Thoughts On My Apple Watch
I have had my Apple Watch now for about 3 months now and have left home without it only once.....and I didn't turn around to get it. If it was my phone, I would have definitely gone back to get it. That being said, I have never left home without it again.
I love my Apple Watch. It has solved a number of first world problems for me; like not having to pull my phone out for every text notification or phone call. I set timers right from my wrist and can see my next appointment at a glance. When my wife asks me what the temperature is outside, I just lift my wrist. All this information is on the watch face pictured above......like I said, first world problems and admittedly not what most people would pay $350 to solve.
I rarely open apps on my watch. I find the interface still a bit clunky and slow. I don't access contacts via the quick button by the crown either. I don't know why, I just never think of it. I am anxiously awaiting this Tuesday's event to see what new life will be pumped into my wrist. I am expecting a real refresh that will speed up apps and improve usability.....yet even without one I will continue to not leave home without it.
