T-Mobile Gets The IPhone

In what would be seen as a very bold move, T-Mobile is getting rid of the subsidised phone model. They are also adding the iPhone to their lineup. That means that customers will be paying full price ($500-$600) for your new phone. Don't fret though, they will ask for $99 up front and then pay an additional $20 each month toward the cost of the phone for 24 months. You are not locked into a contract and the phone is unlocked, which means that if you leave T-Mobile, your phone will work on other carriers.

When compared to typical phone contracts, you may not actually save as much as T-Mobile would like you to believe.
Here is a link to a chart that does the comparing for you http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/03/is-tmobile-iphone-a-deal/

This is hopefully the start of something good....not having to marry one phone company forever.
