David Bach's newest book is an important read if you have been thinking about buying a house or currently own one. Real estate is still one of the best investments you can make.
Bach is known for his "latte factor" strategy for creating enough money to retire on. Basically, take the money you spend at Starbuck's every day and invest it, and in a strikingly short period of time, you will have a sizeable nest egg.
His website is filled with practical information that is appealing to us regular folks, people who aren't heavily invested in the stock market, who want to create something for our later years. His blog is his way of keeping the most current info and opinions visible. You can even set up a podcast to download to your ipod (you do have one, don't you?) through itunes or find the link on his webpage.
All in all, I like him and what he has to say. He is definitely mainstream, having appeared on Oprah and multiple news shows, and is currently on tour doing workshops and book signings. I hope you enjoy him as much as I do.
